Week 8 is upon us and we are the visitors to the Rams “home” game in London. Great city to visit – beer, bangers & mash, the tube, the Queen’s Park, soccer (yes I know you’re there Tampa Bay owners) or football as they call it in the rest of the world and today the NFL. Mr. Kraft went on an extended explanation on how London is ready to host a NFL team. Glad I’m not a Jaguars fan as that seems to be the team that is most often cited these days as a candidate to move. But, back to our Pats. This might have to be called the heart attack team. They look so good one series, then not so much the next. We got rid of those Jets last weekend thanks to our D! Today I’m hoping a neutral field is the key to our guys finally clicking for four quarters. Let’s get a W from a surprisingly tough Rams team. Oh, and go Fish (they host the jets today)!
This weeks game is the Twins Smoke Shop edition as I’m hanging up my cooks hat and putting my drinking shoes on. I’m going to be enjoying this game at Twins in Hooksett. They’re firing up the BBQ and I’ll be bringing some Belgian Style Pale ale, Hooksett ale and Farmhouse Red. Cigars, beer, food and a fun atmosphere will ensue. Some times it’s just fun to get out and enjoy the game too. If you like a good cigar you’re welcome to join us for some fun (2.5 miles off of exit 9N on route 93). If cigars are not your thing then I hope you enjoy the game with a great beer, friends and food.
