2013 - Aged in French oak red wine barrels from California, this deep orange colored beer has a medium level of carbonation and aromas of tart stone fruit, sour grapefruit, light toasted oak and brett. Favors of intense fruit and citrus tartness with a wine like quality and some sourness in the finish.
The 2013 batch of Morning Breaks would pair well with creamy or light aged cheese, rich seafood such as tuna, chowder or a citrus ginger salmon. Your favorite risotto would be nice option too. Think of either light flavors with citrus as a complimentary pairing or something rich and buttery as a more contrasting paring.
